The Heirloom Ring

• The Heirloom features a beautiful and unique half eternity band comprised of alternating marquise and round stones. The 2mm round stones are your choice of birthstone and the 2x4mm marquise stones are keepsake stones. There are 4 places on the ring for the round birthstones and 5 spots on the ring for the marquise keepsake stones.

• We offer this piece in 925 sterling silver, rose gold plated, yellow gold plated, 18K solid yellow gold, 18K solid rose gold, and 14K white gold.

• Half sizes and multiple birthstones are available for solid gold pieces only. Please specify the exact size and stones/order of stones in the notes section. Make sure to select solid gold/multiple birthstones option in the dropdown menu.

• Stones are cz for sterling silver and plated options. Stones are genuine birthstone for solid gold pieces. Average diamond color is E-F and average diamond clarity is SI1-SI2.

• This listing is for one stacking ring. You can create a customized set by adding one or more stacking rings/statement rings to your cart.

**Important note on March/aquamarine birthstone: as of November 2024, our supplier for the silver/plated version of this ring now uses a darker color for the cz aquamarine stone.

If you are wanting a piece to wear frequently please choose SOLID GOLD. It is much more durable than sterling silver/plated, which is more suited for occasional wear.

Additional milk preservation refers to the number of additional milk samples you'd like us to preserve. Some mamas would like us to preserve milk from breastfeeding multiple children.

You will receive a confirmation email with detailed shipping instructions on how to send your keepsake inclusions/milk (this is also detailed in the FAQ). After making a purchase, you can check on where your order is in the process by going to the order status page.

Every piece of keepsake jewelry is as beautiful and unique just as the story behind it. Some inclusions are more difficult to work with than others and no two pieces will ever look alike. There will always be some variation to each jewelry piece which can include but not limited to: translucency, bubbles, evidence of sanding/handcrafting, stones not sitting completely flush on the setting, and other minor imperfections. These are all within normal limits of handcrafted jewelry. By making a purchase with Milk Couture Co., you are agreeing that your jewelry piece will not be 100% perfect/without any flaws.

Our current turnaround time from when we receive your breastmilk/keepsake until you receive your piece in the mail is approximately 3-6 months. This timeline is an estimate and subject to change.

Treat your precious keepsake jewelry/items as you would treat your grandmother's heirloom pearls - with great love and care.  Do not shower, bathe, wash hands, do dishes, work out, sunbathe, swim, or sleep while wearing your jewelry. Do not expose your jewelry to chemicals (lotion, perfume, hairspray, laundry/dish soap, etc.), extreme temperatures, humidity, extended UV light, or essential oils as this can discolor the keepsake stones. Do not store your jewelry in direct sunlight or in a humid area like a bathroom.

With all of that being said, I have done a TON of testing on my keepsake stones. I have put it in water in my window UV light for 2+ years and it still looks beautiful. I also tested in in hand sanitizer, laundry detergent, and even my husband's bourbon (lol)! You can see all of these tests on my IG highlights BTS 1 and BTS 2.

I also recently did testing on resizing our jewelry, and it can be done! You need to find a jeweler who can specifically do laser resizing, where they don't heat up the stones or dip them in chemicals. This does not work for eternity rings (Etheria or mens rings), or plated/vermeil pieces.

A silver polishing cloth is included with each jewelry order. We caution against using the cloth frequently on plated pieces and vermeil as it can strip the plating.
